Jocelyn Gavin Lane

Jocelyn Gavin Lane, LCSW, MPH, is a nationally respected mental health professional, executive leader, published author, and sought-after speaker with more than 20 years of
experience in the field of social services. A licensed clinical social worker, she began her career on the front lines investigating child abuse and neglect and has since built an
expansive career spanning adoption services, hospice care, medical social work, and care for our nation’s veterans. Her work is rooted in clinical excellence, systems leadership, and
measurable community impact.

She is the founder, owner, and clinical director of Premier Professional Counseling Services, LLC, one of Mississippi’s leading private mental health practices. Under her strategic leadership, Premier has grown into a trusted multi-location organization providing comprehensive mental health services across the state. The mission of Premier is to see
each client as a whole person, not merely the circumstance they are facing.

Jocelyn is known for building high-performing teams, cultivating strong community partnerships, and advancing access to quality mental health care.

Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Jackson State University and a Master of Public Health in Healthcare Administration from The University
of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast and the Department of Veterans Affairs Leadership Development Institute.

A visionary convener and statewide advocate, Jocelyn is the founder of the Mississippi Minority Mental Health Symposium, an annual conference for professionals and community leaders that advances the conversation on minority mental health in Mississippi. As the only conference of its kind in the state, the symposium brings together clinicians, providers, educators, policymakers, and community leaders to examine culturally responsive care, equitable treatment access, and the importance of recognizing and celebrating diversity within communities to better serve them in mental health.

She is also the founder and CEO of The Pink Lotus Project, a national nonprofit organization that empowers women and mentors girls. Through this work, she previously
hosted the Gulf Coast Youth Leadership Symposium, which empowered more than 150 students annually in leadership and service.

In addition, Jocelyn is the founder and facilitator of Vibe and Heal, an annual women’s mental health experience designed to create space for authentic dialogue, strategic networking, and thought-provoking conversations around issues that impact women emotionally, relationally, and professionally.
